The students of the Werner-Heisenberg-Gymnasium in the city of Riesa in Saxony chose the theme of decarbonization to welcome their European counterparts.

Activist journalist Léonie Sontheimer introduced the subject and allowed students to target their research with a view to simulating a debate on the contradictory objectives of the various nation states.

Workshops mixing activism and creativity enabled young people to grasp the urgency of the personal commitment of each participant.
